The Tutt Land Company name is synonymous with premier hunting and timberland tracts. The Tutt Family has more than 70 years experience in owning, managing, and developing rural land. In 1991 after many years of developing recreational tracts, we decided to start Tutt Real Estate LLC to assist our clients in buying and selling rural land. We have assisted many clients in realizing the financial advantages of investing in land and timber.  Our knowledge and experience of land has helped us to grow into a company with 14 professional agents that have handled real estate brokerage sales in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee and Florida. Walter Tutt

Walter graduated with a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Alabama in 1988.  He immediately knew he wanted to be in the Hunting and Land Business after assisting many Landowners with land and timber; he started Tutt Real Estate in 1991.  The company merged with Lower Dixie Timber in 1994.  Walter has sat on the Board of directors for the Alabama Forestry Association and has been presented Conservation Awards by The USDA Soil Conservation Service.  Their family land under his management won the 2006 Helene Moseley Award for the South West Area of the State.  Walter has assisted Landowners in developing thousands of acres into Premier Recreational Tracts.  Walter and his family live in Demopolis, Alabama.

Hale Smith

Hale has been with Tutt Real Estate since January, 2004.  He is an associate broker and says he feels blessed to be associated with this company and the people that work here.  Hale represents buyers and sellers with the utmost respect for their privacy and purpose.  He has gained a lot of experience in helping buyers and sellers develop and enhance their property for resale od for their own recreational purposes.  Hale also owns a  local venison processing facility called DeerSmith (deersmith.com).  He has 2 sons (Payne and Ness) and wife (Lynn).  They live in the Thomaston area of Marengo County.

Chester Pugh

Chester has been a Licensed Real Estate Agent since 1996, specializing in hunting, timber, recreational and agricultural land sales as well as commercial and residential properties.  He has extensive experience in all aspects of land sales and wildlife management.  Chester is a member of the Alabama Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.  He is a graduate of the University of West Alabama with BS Degree in Biology, a retired Alabama Conservation Enforcement Officer Supervisor (Captain) with 28 years of service.  He is also an active member of the Alabama National Guard for 35 years, his current rank is Chief Warrent Officer 5. Chester has a wife (Marsha) and they have a son (Alan).

Allen Hamilton

Allen has been with Tutt Real Estate LLC since 2006.  He has lived in Thomasville for Thirty-Two years, were is also a Mortgage Broker for American Mortgage Company.  With his experience as a Mortgage Broker he has the knowledge to walk the client through the entire real estate process of purchasing a home.  Allen is an avid outdoors man, and he loves the chance to handle recreational properties.

Todd Lowery, R.F.

Todd is a Registered Forester and a Timber Buyer for Lower Dixie Timber.  He received his BS from Auburn School of Forestry in 1997.  Todd works in West Alabama and East Mississippi with the majority of his work in Choctaw, Washington, and Sumter Counties.  He is a licensed Real Estate Professional and has over 10 years of experience in the land and timber business.  Todd has worked for Tutt Land Company and Lower Dixie Timber for over 6 years.  His job requires extensive knowledge of land and timber, and when he surveys a property, he pays close attention to details that others might miss.  An avid hunter, Todd lives in Butler with his wife and 2 children.
